Anne focuses mainly on seascapes where she uses different mediums and brush strokes to create textures to bring out the mood and the atmosphere of the moment.

I paint in Acrylic, Oil and watercolour on location or from photographs I have taken or sketches I have made on the day. My seascapes of our beautiful Scottish coastline are in the main painted on canvas where I use a variety of brush strokes and techniques to create textures to bring out the mood and atmosphere of the moment. I just love to see the waves crash against the rocks and in contrast where the sea meets the sand on our stunning beaches. I have a slightly abstract approach mostly in water colour when painting landscapes of the Scottish Borders and bring out the vibrant colours and contours of the rolling hills. My aim is to share what I see in that exact moment, for you to get lost in my art as if you are actually there. On my travels I enjoy taking in the culture, the music and the scottish cuisine.I have had two solo exhibitions and have my work in a number of shops in the Scottish Borders and further afield.
