We use various venues throughout the village including the Village Hall, the Ancrum Cross Keys pub, the Bowling Club and a number of private houses and gardens.
Disabled Access
Some of the venues, particularly private houses, may be challenging to visitors with mobility problems. The Village Hall has good access. There is access to the rear of the pub and the Bowling Club, avoiding the steps at the front of both venues.
Parking
Parking is limited in the village, and visitors are requested to park on residential streets considerately. There are a number of signposted spaces on the edge of the village as you approach from the A68. People with restricted mobility should drive up into the village to park, and there are a number of blue badge spaces at the Village Hall.
Public Transport
The 68 bus runs hourly from Galashiels and Jedburgh, via Melrose and St Boswells. The main bus stop is opposite the Ancrum Pantry (North Myres Croft).
Note Sunday services are every two hours.
Food and Drink
The Ancrum Pantry has a range of filled rolls and bakery items, plus tea and coffee.
The Ancrum Cross Keys is open and their restaurant serves lunches.
Venue 4 - Carnessie will be serving soups, sandwiches and cakes.
The Lavender Touch are providing teas, coffees, traybakes, cakes and scones in the Village Hall.
Toilets
There are toilets available in the Village Hall and the Bowling Club. The Village Hall has an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
